Leavitt Group of Atlanta participated in the annual From Hunger to Hope event this year. Agency employees donated food for the local Norcross Co-op and spent a day packing meals that were shipped to children in developing nations. During the event 1,031,488 meals were packed which will feed 2,814 children one meal per day for a year. Leavitt Group of Atlanta is a major supporter of Atlanta Urban Squash, Inc., a year-round youth development program that encourages academic, athletic, and civic growth. David Bridges, president of Leavitt Group of Atlanta, provides financial support and volunteers on the board of directors, as board secretary, and is a founding board member. The organization’s mission is to help every participant graduate high school, be accepted into an institution of higher education, and be prepared to become a successful adult.
