“While I don't have medical expertise, I do have people skills. My job is to check in the residents, get their basic information, and—most importantly—show them kindness, love, and dignity in the process. WWHH does even more. The founder, Dr. Paula Dhanda, and her team of volunteers travel to underdeveloped countries where childbirth is a matter of life and death throughout the year to provide surgeries, medicine, supplies, training and skilled obstetrical care for thousands of women. It is such a privilege to serve alongside Dr. Dhanda and WWHH and see all the love and generosity that is poured into our most vulnerable population both locally and abroad.”
